Half dead after saving a young girl from some soldiers, he races to escape the  chains that held him for so long. He and his new companion, , head out on a dangerous journey south to find the kingdom by the sea, rumored to be impenetrable, and hopefully find peace at last.

Their path is fraught with danger, not just from soldiers or the many warring kingdoms, but also from an old enemy and a dark secret that has been stalking the land for centuries.
