Tess is 16 years old. She has everything. She is popular, pretty, smart, clever and funny. Her life is perfect...or at least that's what she lets everyone think. But Tess is different from the others. Because of an incident a few years ago, her soul is shattered, and incidents with her family make it harder to put on a smile every day. She knows that at some point, she is going to break.
Quinn is hated by everyone. He isn't flashy, good looking, or nice. His best friend is the biggest idiot and jerk in the school. He is one of those guys that falls easy, falls hard, and is turned down spectacularly. In other words, he is a loser. Fights every day. Drama. A number of people who want to see him burn. And they are determined to do so.
When the two of them meet, it marks the beginning of one hell of a war.
