The kingdom of Talirien is a fairly peaceful place. With lush green mountains and valleys, bountiful farms, prosperous people and a peace loving king. If you ask the people about what is famous in their kingdom, they would tell you about the beautiful river Eridanus, the grandeur of the majestic capital city Velyla, the mystical magic of Boarlon people who lived in the forests, the blood feud between Caelum (see-lum) and Nerine (nay-rye-nee)...
Wait, blood feud? Yes, the tranquillity of this wonderful place is at risk because of these two individuals.
Caelum is adamant, arrogant and an addict. He is desperately trying to make his place in a world where he is unwanted. And his short-temper doesn't really help his case. He is everything Nerine doesn't want.
Nerine is cold, calculating and conceited. She is manipulative with an acute sense of detecting people's weaknesses. This being said, she is known to have no weakness of her own making her invulnerable to her enemies. She is everything Caelum wants.
The struggle for power, prestige and pride soon turns into a battle of wills where submission is the ultimate defeat. And when these two are pitted against each other, collateral damage is something the whole kingdom has to face.
By the way, it is called a blood feud not because they want to kill each other, but because they are 'VAMPIRES'.
