This is a line I could recite from the top of my head, and it sounds mesmerizing at first-entrancing you within their words. But these are the words of slavery, not pride. We were a great race-powerful beyond belief. We carried Luna's blood and we are kin to Solis-given the ability to be an animal and a human. We were the link between mankind and animalkind, to balance and bring peace. But as mankind progressed through their stages of industrialization, we were killed out and enslaved. Men of Horse became their pack-mules, and the Men of Raven became their messengers. Men of Cat and Dog were their "faithful" companions, and the Men of Cow, Pig, and Chicken were food.
