Takuya Hayashi is an seventeen year old boy who lived his whole life in Okinawa, a small island village located in Japan. On his eighteenth birthday, he decided that he was going to study abroad in America, wanting to get out of his village and his country. So he went off to a university in Florida, planning on studying to become a veterinary technician. It was there that he met a young girl named Diana Sanford, who was studying to be an elementary school teacher. Little did he know, that one meeting with Diana would change his life forever.
