Rose and Scorpius did not have a good experience together during their time at Hogwarts. Matching their parents' hate for each other, their house rivalry and their own rivalry- whether it be educational or personal- was always going to be a recipe for disaster.
Three years after they left Hogwarts, they had not seen each other- much less kept in touch, why would they? They both gained stable lives and they lived will and happily.
Soon, another war breaks out as death eaters regain their power- as well as a new one. The two are forced to spend more time together, and who knows the outcome of that?

35 parts Complete

She's smart, she's witty and she's sick of watching egotistical witches and wizards preying on those who can't -- or, in this case, won't -- stand up for themselves. Rose Weasley just can't understand why Scorpius Malfoy lets people walk all over him and she's determined to get to the bottom of it. That is, until their first conversation consists of rudeness and hostility, and Rose begins to think that all her efforts to defend him were for nothing. But there's more to Scorpius than meets the eye, and a pathetic squabble over a Charms book might just be the thing that shows her that.
