In a post-apocalyptic world, there are rules, cruel leaders, and a government so strict that they decide when you die. It wasn't always like this though, but ever since the grids went down, everyone has a deadline.
Wendi Kale is not like the rest. She doesn't blindly believe or follow the rules of her city. In fact, she often gets in trouble for not following the crowd.
Deep within the city is an underground group set to destroy and conquer the government. Wendi finds herself in this crazy unfamiliar territory armed with only a puppy and a boy with violet eyes she can't quite hate or like.
Wendi will learn that sometimes it's healthy and even necessary to be Rebellious.
