For those of you who didn't know (and that is probably quite a few judging by the low number of copies that sold), I once wrote a book. I thought I was being cute and named it Vision2 (i.e. Vision Squared); however, most computer programs and websites do not like to put it up correctly. Doh! Anyway, when I put the book out I cut some of the prologue sections (per my wonderful editor, Matt) because they dealt more with the relationship story and didn't add to the pace of the adventure that was the main focus of the book...Or some such nonsense ;-)
I decided to put up the missing pieces on here just for fun! Enjoy!

Commander Nia, of The USS Nebulus, follows a cosmic trail to find her captain, who is kidnapped by a Type V civilization in the Epsilon Carinae System of the Carina-Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. She descends into an H II cloud, breath bated, unaware of what awaits her on the other side. What she finds sends a shockwave that shudders her very pillars of existence. *Fun Fact* This story began as a short story I wrote a while back. But then I thought, what the hell, couldn't hurt to try and make it a ten-volume novella. That's why the first part is quite long spanning about 5,000 words. But the third part onwards I have eased into a more Wattpady...format. So enjoy! And guys, don't forget to comment and vote!

His new pet leaks into every area of his life, changing things in ways he could never have imagined. Parbeings are the new and improved apex predators of Earth. Created from gene editing, they are the perfect humans, so perfect that they are no longer even considered human. *** Content Warning: The protagonist of this story is a victim of abuse. I do not condone the actions of the antagonist *** Chapter 1 extract: "Hey Alex. Get over here. I've got something for you," he calls into his collar radio. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. An excerpt : "...I went back out to a bunch of men yelling at the little boy, Kicking him screaming foul words in his face. Full to the brim and steaming with rage I pulled each one off of the boy. I held the gun out that had been in the guard's holster. "You'd best leave and leave this CHILD alone" I saw one snicker so I put the gun away and punched him in the nose breaking it and blacking both his eyes. I grabbed his suit and lifted him off the ground shoving him into the wall "LEAVE THIS CHILD ALONE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!"..." Four strangers find themselves trapped in a cage without any knowledge of the past three years. To figure out what happened, they'll have to somehow get along, then investigate every lead together. None of them are prepared for the wars they'll fight through, or even the truth. This is the first book I ever ever wrote, so it's a little rough. Consider it non-canon. This takes place well after the Silent Veil, at the end of ACT 1 for the overarching plot. This contains spoilers basically, but most of those plot points have changed anyways since this book was written. There are also themes I don't exactly align with anymore. I plan to completely re-write this story in the future. For now, I hope you'll enjoy what I did about this thing: fun characters going through a fun romp in space. What to expect: Fun, action, disco! George 'Slick' a disco legend that can glue anyone together. Kielbir a merciless pirate, but he doesn't remember that bit. Donid a sniper poet with daddy and mommy issues. The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. It also happens to rip off a lot of things from other stories.
