Prologue Cuts to Vision2

For those of you who didn't know (and that is probably quite a few judging by the low number of copies that sold), I once wrote a book. I thought I was being cute and named it Vision2 (i.e. Vision Squared); however, most computer programs and websites do not like to put it up correctly. Doh! Anyway, when I put the book out I cut some of the prologue sections (per my wonderful editor, Matt) because they dealt more with the relationship story and didn't add to the pace of the adventure that was the main focus of the book...Or some such nonsense ;-)
I decided to put up the missing pieces on here just for fun! Enjoy!

Before you know it, he's got you pinned against a tree while his bare chest presses against your back. He traps both your wrists easily in one hand above your head. "Caught you, my mate." So when someone asked if there was a continuation to this book, I figured why not? As a result, I'm working on the second part of Rescue. Please read the first book before moving on to this one. Feitan shows you how to become stronger, and you tell him all about romance by taking him on dates and showing him what couples do on a regular basis. He'd never seen anything like it before, which explains why he seemed to enjoy it so much. You went on an individual mission and have yet to return. Four strangers find themselves trapped in a cage without any knowledge of the past three years. To figure out what happened, they'll have to somehow get along, then investigate every lead together. None of them are prepared for the wars they'll fight through, or even the truth. This is the first book I ever ever wrote, so it's a little rough. Consider it non-canon. This takes place well after the Silent Veil, at the end of ACT 1 for the overarching plot. This contains spoilers basically, but most of those plot points have changed anyways since this book was written. There are also themes I don't exactly align with anymore. I plan to completely re-write this story in the future. For now, I hope you'll enjoy what I did about this thing: fun characters going through a fun romp in space. What to expect: Fun, action, disco! George 'Slick' a disco legend that can glue anyone together. Kielbir a merciless pirate, but he doesn't remember that bit. Donid a sniper poet with daddy and mommy issues. Humans think they have gained control over this world, turning a blind and nieve eye to the past. The elves are gone, The Unicorns vanished, Mermaids, Fairies, and goblins are thought to be extinct. Now all that remains are the beasts of this world. Dragons have been a part of human mythology for centuries, along with another species, Demons. Now known as Krylocks, an ancient warlord threatens the very existence of all things pure, and two girls stand in his way. The Innocent, and The Shadow. So far I have only completed the first 5 chapters, the rest I will be working on while this is out. I'm releasing this so early for input, just to see what you guys think and what I should change. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."
