If a human is bitten or scratched by a werewolf at the time of a full moon, that human will become a werewolf. However this person has to live with a curse. Every full moon since their first transformation the cursed shift and reek havoc on surrounding villages/camps/even other packs. Those who are cursed can learn to control their wolves with due time and the help of other werewolves, but they can never control the curse during a full moon.

That is until a rumor goes around talking of a possible cure for the curse. Of course no one knows for sure what this said cure is. Some thinks its a potion of some kind brewed by the last remaining witch that lives North of the mountains. Others believe you would have to find it in the mountains. 

Of course nothing is ever as it seems.

Colins father lived under the curse, and after his mate died giving birth to their son he left Colin with Colins Uncle then disappeared to the mountains. Colin grew up in a not so friendly pack who would always pick on him for also being cursed. And after 21 years of constant bullying Colin left his pack to find his father and get answers. 

Leah grew up in a small castle that overlooked a small village of busy people. Her family and adopted sister, who happened to be her best friend,all loved each other dearly. Her poor home was constantly being attacked by a larger and stronger kingdom, whos leader suddenly decided to make peace with them. After over hearing their compromises Leah runs. 

Leah runs into a fleeing Colin on a full moon. What happens next surprises them all.

"This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's. If any woman found out Zaire's secrets they'd take off running to the nearest police station or they end up in a body bag in the end. Depends....which will come first?

The curse causes these wolves to lose all control of their minds, and when they wake up in human form in the morning, they don't remember anything (though they may revisit certain memories in dreams).
