John David Dempsey is the warden of Oxbow Penitentiary, the prime position of power at the bloodiest prison in the South. Although he takes his career seriously, his morality is overpowered by a deep hunger for large sums of money. To quench this lust, he has struck a deal with a powerful oil tycoon, and he now oversees the dumping of chemicals and toxic waste into the river surrounding the prison grounds. He is rewarded handsomely for this, but after three years of illegal disposal, an environmental disaster looms, and with it, an infestation of mutant inmates poised to destroy all mortal life in their path. Can John David halt the carnage and mayhem that he ultimately brought to Oxbow? Can he save his beloved wife, and the other innocent spouses and children who reside in the village located on the prison grounds? This will be the truest test of his character. This is his nightmare.

Her mates name is Alexander Lopez. He's the next in line alpha of the Rising Blood Moon pack, and has been searching for his mate since he turned fourteen. He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
