Due to a variety of reasons, Elias moves to another town and changes art school, mainly so he can learn to draw the things he wants. There he meets Milly and Noel, two artistic people who quickly invite him in their group. Mostly Noel becomes a really good friend. When Elias discovers Noel is a scared closeted boy, hiding in a homophobic city, he supports him and they grow even closer.
But rumors emerge; Elias is gay! Because he's the type that can't care less about stuff like that, he shrugs it off, which is proof for the others that he is indeed gay. And soon his life at school turns around, he becomes the subject of mockery and bullying.
And despite what he'd hoped, Noel won't support him in return.

This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time.
