Both Evie and H2O's characters are 17-18 years old and just finished high school. Evie has a twin brother, and her mother is still alive.

I wrote this story because I was inspired by my friendship with someone who I'm close friends with, the fact she and I are working on becoming a professional merfolk, and we like both shows. Plus I also wanted to make a character with autism for the H2O universe not to mention I also wrote this to help me deal with anxiety.
