October 7th, 2016:
Alone at last and out of breath, I climb up onto the ledge.

As I look down upon the bright twinkling night lights and skyscrapers. I observe the ant-people dashing back home, most likely late for dinner.

I see a few [couples?] holding hands around central park. I turn and see [mothers?] taking care of their children.

I see hope… [?]
Or not.

I’m not that cheesy.

Observing the [peacefulness?] of my view, I know I can always go back and forget about it. I can start afresh. I can move away and make happy memories. I still have that chance. I can become strong.

But then I remember the pain. Mentally, emotionally, and physically.
A simple human can only take so much.

I gather my last thoughts and think hard to find some [happy?] memories.
What did I do to deserve this?

The world will be better off this way.

It’s now or never.
I jump.
