Mara has always been homeschooled after the visit to the doctors. Her parents death was the most tragic thing in her life. the second, being her illnesses. After her parents death her favorite aunt Faith took her in and raised her as hers with every ounce of love that she had. But the sad thing about living with her aunt, she had to go to public school. High school at that. 

Although she was terrified, she was happy to get out of the house and actually find friends. On Mara's journey through her new life of friends both guys and gals, she finds out secretive things about her parents death. Was it just a car accident that killed both of her parents or was it something else or better yet, someone else?

Mara has always been in the shadows of her three sisters. First there's Tate, the youngest, who has an incredible amount of talent and passion for dance.
