Nothing makes him happier than drinking, he knows he has a problem...so all he needs is a distraction; that's not so bad right?
Kelcie is done trying to be perfect. Her dad died when she was twelve, and her mom works all the time, she's basically been on her own. Shes been best friends with Sarah since grade nine. Caleb is one of a kind. He dances down the street and talks to himself in public. He still listens to Micheal Jackson, and will actually pull the chair out for you. He's weird and he loves it. But the truth behind his ways is that he just wants to be noticed by her. Sarah has been his best friend since the goth grade, and he's been in love with her singe grade eight. She doesn't seem to see it, but he won't tell her because he's scared he'll lose her. Why can't she see that he's the guy she's been waiting for?
Sarah came from a broken family. Her dad is always in and out of jail, and her mom left when she was a baby. The only reliable parents she has are her grandparents. Her friends are her life, and the books she reads are the perfect escape. She longs to be wisked away by prince charming on a white horse. It happens all the time in the movies...why can't she have a fairytale too?
