Solstice

I feel something pierce my throat, something sharp and thin, something filled with venom that makes my head swirl like a crazed girl. The pain is fleeting, only for a second, and then I feel like I'm drowning, except it's not bad. I want to drown. I can hear Dominic sigh as he drinks my blood.

I don't know how many minutes passes. Hours. Days. I don't care anymore. All I care about is his hands on my waist, his fangs piercing my flesh . . . and my blood in his veins.
