Ruben Atkinson was a normal girl living in Brighton, England.
When her mum died, Ruben was no longer normal.
Well, let's say she never was.
After the unknown death of her mother, she no longer talks to anyone. Everyday at school she would sit under a tree and read a book while ignoring the people around her.
When Ruben turned 17 years old and goes to Bristol to attend Green Pastures Academy, everything went well. But one day in her AP English class, she starts hearing whispers but just thinks its her.
The same day at night in her dorm room, she sees a ghost. The ghost then starts talking to Ruben and tells her to follow her. The ghost shows her to a secret passageway that is filled with roaming ghosts.
But Ruben does not know what she gets herself into.
