Abby loved being outside and in the woods. But when she was inside, that's when the nightmares began. She was beaten along with her younger sister, Mckenzie. She felt bad for the child getting beaten and she felt guilty. So almost all the time she took the blame. It was better her then her little sister. One day, a winter storm was coming. She wanted to go outside but being the abusive and strict parents they told her she couldn't go out. She hadn't been out for a while so she really was needing the outdoors. Where she could be her. Without getting beaten with every little wrong step that she took. Where she could teach her sister about life. And make sure she was taken care of. She got mad so she packed her and Mckenzie's bags and there dogs, Hazel and Frost. They took their stuff and went camping too show they were fine. The storm finally came and it was worse then expected. They realized they were lost and instead of going home they decide to just run. That when they met the others...
