The human race is forever waiting for the day it will know everything there is to know. Unfortunately, that will never happen. 50 years after a biological weapon has struck the world, strange things are happening, and it leaves questions. Not just who did this, but why was it done? And how did blue fog start telling the next generation their time of death? A new silence has set over the world, as everyone realises the same thing: no-one can defeat The Death Timer. World leaders are forced to investigate this catastrophe, but how? Whenever something new is learnt, the timer goes off and someone else is dead. Many discover the real meaning of life only after finding they don't have long to live it. So how exactly has this one girl managed to exceed her lifespan? That's what Dr Uherto wants to know. And upon further personal investigation, he finds that there is only one thing to be learnt about the death timer: there's someone behind it who enjoys seeing human kind squirm.

Some of us got to survive with the help of the government which built an entire city that would protect everyone from the virus that appeared right after the radiation went away. The city was like a fortress, no one could enter and no one could leave...except the people executed who defied the government rules.
