Once upon a ti- scratch that. Just last week, I had finally thought my life was getting better and it was going great. I had a great paying job as a nurse and a cozy apartment with my own car. I was finally able to be independent after 22 years.
But then, I saw him, or he saw me, technically speaking. I was walking outside of my favorite cafe after grabbing dinner, when I heard tires screeching. I turned my face towards the sound, only to have someone running to me and knocking me down.
They had embraced me and the fall. Next I heard something crashing
and started to unconciously hug the person from the side. Whoever it was then put them self over me. Covering me. But from what?
I then heard an explosion. And sirens and shouting. I didn't realized I had shut my eyes tight till I heard grunts on top of me. I slowly opened my eyes to see the person who saved me. His eyes were shut closed. I then realized it was because he was in pain. He then opened his eyes. And growled.

Or So I Thought.
They say don't talk and drive, and now I know why. Although, not for the reason you might think. I accidentally hit my alpha mate with my truck. Bet the insurance won't cover that. I wish I could say my story was this; It's raining while I'm driving home, I hit a dog, get out to help it surprise it's not a dog but a hot werewolf that I fall in love with under the beautiful stars.
