The second thing that caught her attention was the tall man standing in front of her. Already drenched. The t-shirt and checker shirt he wore were clinging to his muscles, the same for his jeans. "Katey?" The man's voice was gruff and deep and sounded confused. Also somewhat familiar for a reason she couldn't explain. Katey looked up at the man's face, the one thing she hadn't checked out yet. She sucked in a breath at the sight of him. His brown hair was matted to his head. His strong jaw and features were dripping with water. His blue eyes were looking at her with a frown. Then she did a double take.

I looked up and saw my blue head beauty of a wife. Staring at me with hurt and confused eyes. I stared at the girl with the same intense glare. Hoping everything that I was thinking came through it. We were silent. I felt the air intensify. I wonder if she had moved on already. Moved on and I couldn't have a chance anymore. And then she took a step forward. Hesitantly. I waited. And then another. Until we were standing in front of each other. And then Kate through herself in my arms. Digging her nails into my back. And lowering her head into my shoulder. "Hey Kate," I mumbled. Holding her up by her waist. A sob came from her. "You're here. Really here. Are you staying," she asked? "Yeah. And I'm never leaving again."
