When Mapleshade dies and moves to the Dark Forest, she is seperated from her firstborn kits. Maplekit, the oldest of three in her litter, decides to take matters into her own paws while she is in Starclan. While trying to convince her mother however, Mapleshade refuses to take the right path towards the light. Maplekit and her littermates decide to fight with Starclan during the battle of the Dark Forest and the physical clans. While Firestar's death follows, another fight just as horrible moves on. Appledusk, the father of these kits, ignores his own kin from Mapleshade, his former mate. Will Appledusk and Mapleshade choose the right destiny? Or will both warriors die fighting?
