Winnie has no clue how she got here. The forest provided no memory that could help her remember her past life and all its vain glory, the trees surrounding her whole being made her nauseous, agitated and anxious. Nothing made sense or added up. She was abandoned in a eerie yet comforting forest, nothing here but an eternity of nothing.... oblivion. Until one day when everything changed. Her first time in weeks, encountering people made her whole world change...... for the worst. She plummeted into a life of hatred, love, lost hope and death.

He looks out beyond the edge and I can't seem to pull my eyes away from him. He smiles and speaks, but I can't hear anything he says. Even so, the buzzing seems to grow quieter and quieter till it's just silence all around myself and him. I watch his mouth move as inaudible words flow from it into the air, and his hands open as he gestures while he speaks. I watch as he looks turns to look at me to be sure I am following along, and then his eyes just wait on me and his mouth stops moving. I watch him mouth my name and tilt his head to read me. There's nothing I can tell him. Nothing that wont change things, but if I keep this going things will change. "I stared at her beautiful caramel skin, her glass skin. Even her freckles were smooth and soft. I'm not sure if other people would classify her as beautiful, but her large blueish gray eyes, the ones that held such intelligent and innocence and serenity, that is was impossible for me not to be held prisoner by them. Her cheekbones weren't high and defined, and her nose was a little too small to be considered perfect to other guys. However, her glorious features kept me captivated. Her lips weren't as I imagined them to be. I expected her to come with makeup on, maybe a little lip gloss, but they were coated with lip balm. I could smell it from here, the sweet scent of mango. She wore her natural hair, or at least I thought it was, and it was pulled into a high messy bun. There were curly baby hairs around her whole head. She wore diamond earrings. I expected her to be dressed up, since that's normally how I perceived girls to be, but she dressed comfortably. She wore a forest green sweatshirt, black tights, and brown Uggs.
