**Story Plot**

Felicity Michaels is a teenaged girl with a big dream. To be the surfing hero of her small town in California. Her grandmother gave her a necklace of black lace with a small seashell attached to it. The necklace is her lucky charm. But one day, the necklace mysteriously goes missing. Felicity must travel to Canada, where there are secret hints and clues hidden along the way that only she can see. But why can only she see them? Why did her mom just leave? Her grandmother was like her second parent, a replacement for her dad who died before she was born. But then, on one fateful day, Shadow brings home a mirror and a storybook home from her grandmother's house, after she found a hidden note telling her to take it. After her grandmother's funeral, Shadow trips and falls into the mirror, taking her best friend, Alex, along with her. Now they find themselves in a new universe called Euphoria, in a kingdom known as Abesa.
