It is through the destructive passage of time that the strongest mountains stand tall; through the darkest of memories are the brightest of souls forged.
Through the dissolution of the glorious Golden Age, came the Collapse. Having just suffered the loss of humanity's pinnacle of prosperity, innovation, exploration, peace and advancement, the Earth was thrown into a pit of fear. The Darkness had followed the celestial body, the Traveler, which had once brought the solar system such powerful enlightenment, and sought to destroy its work. In efforts to thwart the impending Darkness, the Traveler sacrificed it's mobility and strength. in turn, its efforts kept the remaining survivors alive. This is when the era of Guardians began. Defenders of the Last City and bearers of the Traveler's Light, Guardians rose up to face the world's worst. They set out on a quest across the solar system to fight back against the Darkness which has since aimed to consume them. Despite there being many Guardians and even more illustrious stories of them to be told, this one follows two unlikely souls. Their stories converge to develop multiple paths, opening gateways to multiple futures, and closing others to unveil mysteries, discover emotions, and ultimately bring upon the Earth's strongest warriors.
This is a story of finding home.

The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows.
