Lili has a problem.
One day her mother is doing her usual thing: running around over achieving, holding down two jobs, running the house like clockwork, keeping them all in line, generally never giving anyone a minute’s peace.
The next day, her mother is like a different person. She just wants to lie on the couch and sleep - and it’s the same the next day and the next day…
Lili (and her sister and two brothers) have to start looking after themselves, which isn’t so great after all. What is wrong with Lili’s mother? How can they make her better? And who’s going to pay the rent when the money runs out?
