His brown eyes stare straight into mine, smile extended widely, dimples prominent in both cheeks. He’s wearing his favorite Michael Jackson t-shirt, the one he had to work twenty hours overtime for at out town’s General Store. He had always looked forward to Picture Day every year, even though he knew my parents would never buy them; we never had any excess money at the end of the month to spend on non essentials. "If only you knew the reason you were smiling for, Ben." I whisper sadly. My hand smoothes out the crinkles in the old paper, thumb brushing across his name and the date he’s been missing. Two days from now will mark the tenth anniversary of his disappearance and our birthdays. * * * Ten years ago, Kelly McGrath's brother, Ben, disappeared without a trace. Haunted by his memory and the feeling that there is more to uncover about his disappearance, she sets out on a journey to find the truth and discover why he never came back. ***Takes place in 1983, 1993, and 2013.

Summary: Emily Tozier is spending the summer hanging out with her little brother and his friends. They are going to have the summer of a lifetime when they decide to help Bill Denbrough find out why his brother went missing. Will she find love along the way? Or will something fuck it all up? Warnings: Cussing, Bullying, Potential Scary Aspects (Clown), Violence. Mentions of missing children. 2-3 year age difference on couple but still legal. Gore. The movie this is based on and the characters you recognize do not belong to me. What I have changed and Emily belong to me. The story itself does belong to me. Please do not steal. Genre is Romance, Humor and Horror. I picked Horror because of the movie and gifs I have inside this story. Best Ranking: #1 out of #12 - BenHanscomxReader (July 21st, 2021)
