Untruly Lost - a Harry Potter Fanfiction

Eleven year old Icelyn Potter is the twin sister of James Potter. She was born in 1960, turned eleven in 1971, and died that same year, or so everyone thought.

Enter Fred Weasley, on a quiet walk in Diagon Alley, after just closing up shop at the newly opened Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. He soon runs into the nearly frozen girl, and finds out that Icelyn had been living in the unknown world alone for about six months now, finding that her parents, twin brother, and best friends were missing in this strange mystery.

Back in 1971, James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew move on without her. They grow up to be the infamous Marauders. James marries Lily Evans, has a son, and is killed by Voldemort. Sirius is imprisoned in Azkaban, Remus carries guilt and grief but does a very bad job at hiding it, and Peter joins the Dark Lord.

Separated from them by time, Icelyn has barely grown up herself. She is surrounded by people she knew just half a year ago as children but are now completely matured. Icelyn feels lost- she wasn't meant to die- most think she's a ghost.

Remus is the only friend she has left- but is he ready to face the girl who he spent almost twenty years beating himself up about?

Untruly Lost is a fanfiction that explores feeling caught in the middle between growing up and staying who you are inside. The circumstances are high- Icelyn is suddenly thrown forward in time, unable to get back- forced to face a world where everyone has moved on without her- even her closest friends.

But is she really lost? Or did her life get completely thrown off the tracks?
