I take a shaky breath before replying. "I know you did." He punches the wall behind me again and I worry that he might cause permanent damage to either the wall or my head.
"Then, why did you come?"

Gracie Kingston is a straight A, aspiring artist and a scholarship student. However, her favorite thing to do is read. Seeing that the library holds the most books available, she makes it her home away from home. Her escape from the entire claustrophobic world. Her escape veers off path when a certain bad boy strikes her a deal.
Dimitri Evens is like an electric eel around people. He hates to communicate, especially with the female sex. The only problem is, the girls can never take a hint. So he is obviously reluctant to agree to help the library closest to the school. When push comes to shove, he is forced to work without complaints. At first, nothing is too bad, but everything changes as soon as a certain good girl walks into the library during his shift. He wants nothing to do with her and the way she makes him feel. So the deal he makes with her?
