Let's say you accidentally call Satan because you called the wrong number. He brings you whatever you need and just hangs out with you. Turns out he's a nice guy. You might say that wouldn't happen, but since I have the worst luck ever, that happens to me.

Good thing he's a good guy, minus the whole king of hell thing.

Also I'm a Mage, it would be a good thing, but it's actually illegal in the city of Eastwind. Let me explain how illegal it is. Being a Mage is practically a death sentence if the cops find you.

I just hope I can stay alive here.

Cold seeps into my bones as I wander the dark forest before me; the frigid air from the mountains enveloping me in a tight, chilling grip. Shadows dance across the ground as the light of the moon shines downward through the swaying treetops. Leaves and sticks crunch beneath my feet as I continue to wander forward; my body instinctively hiking up a small slope to my right. My mind is numb, confused, anxious. What is this place? Where am I going? How did I get here? Ascending the slope, the trees eventually reveal a small meadow. Moonlight reflects off the dew of the grass, creating a soft silver glow. In the distance, I see a small circle, made of what appears to be field stones. A sense of coming home blended with deep trepidation and fear spreads throughout my being. My body continues forward against my will, leading me towards the center pillars. The sudden scent of pine, moss and . . . cedar. . . begin to set my mind at ease; its intoxicating fragrance fills my nostrils. "Closer, a whisper fills my mind. Closer. Do not be afraid, lost one. Closer." That voice? I know that voice but from where? Where am I? more importantly, Why can't I remember? I know you exist. It's been 14 years still I have not found you. My dream shows me you do exist mate. But where are you? The time to complete my promise is coming. My OBSESSIVE SEARCH has slowly turned me into a psychotic Alpha......and still........ WAIT!...... THAT SCENT!!! It's YOU!!! I found you!! I feel my heart pounding so hard in my chest, its close to exploding. yet before my obsession envelops me there is a moment of clarity "At last, I found you." and my thought changes. Deadly is my intent "Goddess HELP ANYONE WHO STANDS IN MY WAY!!!" Two Wulves, one lost in his mind, another losing his heart. Has the Goddess finally breathed peace to both? Uniting a forgotten world granting peace to a bitter heart? Only she knows.

They say, "Be careful what you wish for." They say, "There's truth to every story." They say, "Karma's a B***h." A heart's wish is a powerful thing. But magic doesn't exist. Or so I thought. Now, a troll has found me. ************* Cara I can't... It hurts... Why? Am I not good enough? Not pretty enough? What did I do to be betrayed like this? I feel numb except for the gaping hole in my chest. The darkness starts creeping in. I wish... Heavens how I wish... Friday June 13th I don't know when, how, or why I ended up where I am, but here I am. As insane as it sounds, I am no longer on earth. I think. Maybe I'm dead. Or maybe I'm in a coma! One where I can feel a hell of a lot of pain and new scents are being created? Maybe, just maybe, I should have listened to Grandmother's crazy stories of magic in our blood and being careful what we wish for. They don't sound so crazy anymore. All I know is I'm on the ground, can't move, staring up at an impossibly blue sky through broken branches of trees I've never seen before. That's saying a lot. Botany is my favorite hobby. I think I have internal bleeding from falling through the three-story tall trees like a pinball. My only regrets are knowing my Mum will be in a panic, won't quit searching, and my sweet American Pit Bull Terrier, Nimuë, fell through with me. ************* Tavirian Our laws are clear. If we find any creature wounded past the point of healing, we kill them. It's a mercy. We've gotten a reputation for being ruthless and cannibalistic because of it. Hundreds of years ago, perhaps, but not anymore. I'm still a monster. I'm on my ancestral pilgrimage to present the spirits with my potential brides. I'm not thrilled with my options. My mate is out there, but the elders are pushing me to take one of our Tribe. When we come across a nearly dead, tiny human and her creature, I can't kill them. Especially now. I can use the pilgrimage to save them for now, but I'll need help.

»My name is Aristes, by the way. Here's my phone number, if you need to call me.« »Your phone number?« »Yes. I mean, you could call me by setting up an altar and sacrificing a lamb, but I think calling me via phone is a bit easier. And, you know, less messy.« It is a truth universally acknowledged that a demon in full possession of his intellectual abilities can not, should not and will not fall in love. Love is a concept invented for humans to give their short life meaning in a universe that doesn't care about their existence. Or at least that's what they tell you in the Underworld. Which really does not explain Aristes situation right now. Like, at all. Life as a male witch wasn't easy. Especially when you got dangerously cursed after accidentally summoning a demon. Which was exactly what Jasper did. The second summoning was at least not an accident but went slightly wrong as well - it got him a helping pair of clawed hands (well, sometimes at least. I mean the clawed helpfulness) and something like an involuntary flatmate. Which was not what Jasper had expected but hey, you've got to take all the help you can get when you're trying to get rid of a curse whose sole purpose it is to kill you. Jasper should be glad he survived it til here. And if dealing with a wayward demon was the price to pay, he had nothing against it. Especially when said demon had the annoying tendency to make him laugh and blush all the time.

FIRST CHAPTER FULLY EDITED CURRENTLY REWRITING / EDITING!! "I don't care about losing people who don't want to be in my life anymore. I've lost people who meant the world to me and I'm still doing just fine." I jumped down from the old wooden table, and dusted myself off. "You're not fine, Elion." A warm hand was placed on my shoulder, but I quickly shook it off. I struggled to find words to disagree, and failed after many attempts of just opening my mouth and closing it again. I guess I wasn't fine after all. I paced around for a bit, before deciding to just walk out of the room. I was followed by two tall figures. Theo and Chase. Why couldn't they just leave me alone? Chase sat down next to me. "Hey, we'll get through this. We will be free from worries and war someday, and we will stick together forever." "Boys of Freedom," added Theo, and smiled. -
