As the story unfolds she learns that the man who she thought was "perfect" quickly turns into an oppressive, aggressive,  and border-line "psycho". When she begins to notice his drastic changes in behavior,  she is frighten and wants to get away from this "new" man, she is forced to go on the run, fighting desperately for her life as the man who she thought she was falling in love with goes resiliencly after her.
