When you think about it, a name is an identity. Without a name, you cannot know who you are. In Alasia, a futuristic North America, there are orphans without names. Left to fend for themselves... or die. Called "The Nameless", these orphans are hunted, collected as bounty, sold, and imprisoned. They steal, lie, and cheat, all in order to survive. So, running and hiding from the "Named", Rapunzel, Mist, Sunset, Atticus, Mouse, and Firefly fight for their lives. But there is a traitor in their midst and lies surrounding them. And when a Named boy joins the team with a life-changing idea, everything they ever knew is turned upside-down.
