Damn werewolf illnesses. Pretty much fatal. Pretty much incureable. Death comes quick... if you don't kill yourself from the blinding pain first. Most you have to live is about a month, which is an accurate description of the fate James Maxwell has. To make things worse, he's supposed to be the heir to the throne. He's supposed to become the alpha. Good news is, there is a cure. That only 'special people' know about. (Meaning the oldest werewolves and vampires... possibly some doctors. ) But this cure... pretty hard to find. Even when you have hundreds of wolves searching for it. Why? Cause only one person can find it. James. What's the cure? Finding his one mate out of the entire population of Earth (yes, humans and weres alike) and NOT falling for them. Is this even possible? Not according to every werewolf, witch, and vamp. Not even in the oldest history books has any werewolf resisted their mate. It's physically and mentally impossible. His mate could reject him, yes. But then he's faced with life-long depression. Possible suicide. So it's either die of illness, depression and possibly suicide, or trying to fight all his instincts and reject his mate. He's screwed.
