When you were told as a child to hide your talents to keep your safety and well-being, you would do it. My parents had always said not to stand out in a community or society. Hide your wit, hide everything that makes you special. I didn't understand why, but I felt okay with it and did what they had told me to do. I pretended to have no talents, hid my wit and become an average blonde girl with no special talents or genius IQs.
