I introduce to you Matthew Lawrence, an awkward  teenager who has hazel eyes and spends his free time on Tumblr. Ten years later, this unsocial loser ends up wrecking an expensive wedding and taking off with his best friend's bride. 

But wait, how did that happen? When did the short underdog become a total badass?  You see, that's exactly where I come in. 

Hi, I'm Matt. You know, the aforementioned loser? Yeah, that's me. My job is to fill you in on the humiliating series of events that occurred prior to the big wedding disaster. 

So join me as we take an embarrassing journey back to my teenage years.

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

Just one little screw up and she knew that she would have to wish her junior year goodbye. That is until you bang your head against the wall after doing a total of SIX slightly slanted ninja rolls right in front of your friendly... Still without clothes... Abs are present... Somewhat very sexy... Abs are still present... Okay really good looking... ABS I REPEAT ABS ON SHOW... Hot, sexy, and did I mention ab-delicious Neighbor Or to be more specific... Ashton Rider. "What the hell did you do!?" I heard a feminine voice behind me. I groaned and turned around to meet a very angry face. I have never seen a girl this pissed before and honestly speaking, I am a little bit afraid. "She knew what she was getting into. Everyone knows I am player and I never stick to one girl." I shrugged and turned around to walk away. I didn't even take one step when I felt a firm hand on my t-shirt. She took a fist full of my shirt and turned me around so I was facing her. She is starting to piss me off. No one clashes me and no one stands against me. Even though I am new here, everyone knows that. I saw her eyes go blank and before I could duck, her fist made contact with my face and I felt sharp pain coursing through my nose. I held my nose tight and felt warm liquid flowing to my lips.
