There were two things Kat promise to herself after that night, during which she discovered a major part of her world's truth; don't think about it anymore, and keep the secret. But two months and a half afterward, the only thing Kat has done, has been the second one, because she feels truly confused and torment, and she's not able to make that memory go away.
