Touko White has had a relatively normal life in Nuvema Town, with her two best friends, Bianca and Cheren. The only tragedy throughout her life was the apparent death of her father, leaving her mom to care for her. But when she finally gets to go on her Pokémon journey, she discovers just why he disappeared.
Her father was a spy working for the international police, given special abilities in a serum that only responded to a certain, very rare gene. A rare gene that he happened to pass down to Touko.
Just as she's about to head out to go on her Pokémon journey, she's offered a spot as a spy, just like her father was, with those same abilities too, which brings her into the world outside of Nuvema Town, with evil organizations, friendship, betrayal, and love.

In this alternate universe, some human are hybrids with Pokemons. You are one of them. You are an half-liepard and half-human hybrid. You were born in Unova before Team Rocket got you and took you back to Kanto. You were studied for a while before Silver and Ethan help you out of there. While Silver help you a lot - because he's not like his father - you met Red - an Half-Pikachu and Half-Human boy - and Blue - just a human -who also helped you re-socialize with people, not fear human. You still do, some times, even more when they are like the Team Rocket. You were able to go back to your home region ; Unova. You came back learning that hybrids aren't really known and appreciate. You had to walk around while hidding. Until one day, when you listen to Ghetsis talk and you just KNEW ... he was bad, rotten, a liar. But, then, you also met N who's ... so strange ... interesting ... seeing him interact with pokemons makes you want to get burn by him and his presence. But, could you trust him? Right after she gained her eighth Gym badge in Unova, she had an urge to visit her home region of Kanto and her friends who live there. After visiting with her family and friends in Pallet Town, she headed to Cerulean Cape to visit Bill, who started up Crystal's PC Pokémon storage system. Bill was in the middle of an experiment and Crystal offers to help, which brings her the ability of a Ditto: the ability to change into any Pokémon. That is, with practice.
