In the Kingdom of Five Cities, known as Etholius, four cities are devoted to fire, water, wind, and earth, respectively. The fifth city, Aethrum, is the capital. Grace Athensius lives in Aqualia, making her a water-bender. But her water powers are practically nonexistent. When she manages to pass the national proficiency test, without using water-bending at all, she is alienated from her peers and her family, who claim that she does not belong in Aqualia. Then Grace receives a gift, an elaborate weapon - with an anonymous note warning her that she will need that weapon soon. "Etholius is the Kingdom of Five Cities, but four will fall and a sixth will rise," the note reads. Grace's journey to discover her true powers leads her through the Kingdom of Five Cities and beyond to find the true danger that Etholius faces. And although Grace has never cared much for Aqualia, she does hope that her home city remains safe in the war to come.

"Look, I can see how tired you are from traveling. You have traveled all the way from Mondstadt to Inazuma and survived multiple fights, even with the Electro Archon herself. It feels like it was ages ago that you arrived in Mondstadt and helped me free Dvalin." "You've grown a lot since then, both in strength and in knowledge. You've reached heights you probably never thought you'd reach and experienced so much along the way. But it's also important to stop to rest and recover." "You once said that you enjoyed watching the stars, right? This is the best spot to watch them in Mondstadt." Aether wakes up in Teyvat and sets out on a journey to find his sister. He meets Venti, one of the bards of Mondstadt, and their friendship soon grows into something else... There's way too few Venther books on Wattpad, so I decided to take matters into my own hands! Completed! :D
