Lithium was used as a drug to help treat manic in bi-polar disorder and reduce suicidal thoughts in patients suffering in various mood/mental disorders. No one expected a human to take the role of lithium. When Ever comes in contact with Riley McDonough, she knows absolutely nothing about what he's capable of doing for her. He doesn't even know it himself.

Mia has never felt the way she is currently feeling when Connor left her for tour. Although she had some friends to accompany her through this tough time, it wasn't enough. True enough, after a month she thought things will go back to how it was once Connor comes back from tour, but it didn't. Things got worse, especially with the issue they are both fighting for.
