The Awakening

A true heroine is one who has suffered loss and defeat but still gets back up time and time again to help others who need her. Alexis has lost everything in the aftermath of a deadly virus which has spread though out the UK and around the world killing the souls of 94% of the earths population turning them into "The Infected".

Those who were initially immune to the virus now face threats from other issues since the power went out including being the main food source for the ever hungry Infected.

Alexis is now alone on the outskirt of the city she once loved, a city once booming with people. The sound of talking. The sound of cars, of factories, of life that has now disappeared. All that's left is the occasional scream.

What will she have to sacrifice to survive and keep others alive? Will selflessness come as easy in a world where everything is against you?
