Annabeth Swan was the older sister of Isabella Swan. Unlike her sister, Annabeth wasn't upset with the idea of moving to Forks to live with their father. Annabeth had continued to visit him every year near Christmas, unlike her sister, so she and her dad had a bond. Annabeth was different from her sister, she wasn't as awkward and clumsy. She was strong-willed and charismatic. She had a few friends at Forks High School, so when they finally went to school, it wasn't as awkward for her as it was for her little sister. As Bella got wrapped up in the Cullen family, Anna stayed away from them. The family tried to include her, because Alice knew that Anna had a mate, but Anna just wasn't one to encourage such fantasies as Bella was. It was Bella that told her about vampires, and that was when Anna's world changed forever. Hidden in the shadows was a blonde vampire. He wasn't like the Cullens, meaning he wasn't a "vegetarian." He killed for his food, but he also simply liked the fight that everyone put up before they died. It was fun, but when he entered Forks, something was different. There was a scent he just couldn't shake, and Victoria could tell that something was up with him. She and Laurent were both curious, but Victoria quickly became jealous, especially once they figured out where the scent was coming from. The scent was a human, and the human was James's mate. Victoria was not happy, and she tried to force herself closer to James, but she didn't quite get what she wanted, and she truly wanted him to feel her pain...

As I leave, the cold British wind greets me. I zip up my sweater, and start walking home. Thanks to my parents, I don't have a car. "You're too irresponsible for a car, Courtney. You can always save up for one once you leave this house," my father had scoffed when I asked him. I walk at a fast pace, hoping to avoid any random strangers lurking in the dark streets. "Hey, darling. What are you doing all alone in the dark?" I hear a voice ask. I pick up his deep, British accent. I ignore him, and start jogging. Just a few more streets... I hear his swift feet, and he grabs me from behind, pressing a wet cloth on my face. He drags me behind a building. My muffled screams are the only noise in the silent night. I try to break from his strong, yet careful hold. I wiggle under his grip, but he only lets out a sigh. "Shhhhh...don't scream...everything will be alright...shhhh..." he whispers. I feel warm tears slide down my face, and my eyesight blurs, and I stop screaming and escaping. The last thing I see are the swaying trees. Then... DARKNESS... ✯✯✯✯✯ 19-year-old Courtney Thompson hates her life. From her annoying stepmother, to her overprotective father. The only thing that keeps her alive is her brother and reading. My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series) by Chinesechickens123

BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

Stories That Crawled From My Brain

7 parts Ongoing

A series of short stories I hope will at least give a sense of a creepy crawling tickling your spine with its grisly tendrils. And if not, well, I had fun doing it anyway. 1) Hive Mind Deep in the jungles of the Amazon, a team of scientists uncover a Moth with strange powers - but will these save the human race, or be their doom? 2) Radio Silence Life on the Space Station is cramped, quiet, and sometimes boring. All one can do sometimes, is long for the return to Earth. 3) Killing Time Prison isn't fun for anyone, particularly not the prison officers. But at HMP Winstable, the inmates and the officers have even more to worry about than their sentences... 4) Knock Knock Knock Three knocks, each louder than the last on the door at three in the morning. How do you react? 5) The Year Ahead Everyone would love to see the future. What would you do if you could? Be careful - you may not love what you see... 6) Pursuit People often tell you to not go out after dark. In the city, it makes sense. After all, there is an endless host of dangers. But if you live in a particularly sleepy part of the world, surely there's nothing to fear, right? 7) Codex Macto How far would you go to pursue your dreams, to reach your goals? How far is too far? And what if, after all, your goals aren't your goals at all?
