Steph was a normal thirteen year old girl. But then her world was flipped upside down by the invasion of her home planet by some unknown species. She escaped her town with her long time friend and mentor, Emmett. They eventually took refuge in a nearby town with other survivors. The gathering of survivors calls itself the Society. The leaders of the Society, the Elders, decided that anyone between 12 and 25 must fight to defend their people and reclaim the region. Steph didn't know what to do, but she really had no choice. The fight has been going on for two years, and the only thing that keeps her going is her will to live and her friends, Emmett, Megan and Hugo. *DISCLAIMER* I do not own any of the photographical content in the cover photo. *Read my first book called "Germ" before reading this* After Drew Davis, a weak, immature twelve year old worrying about his popularity, turns into a strong (physically and emotionally) thirteen year old who acts like an obedient military student. After his group's failure of finding a safe spots around the U.S., Drew discovers that he's been running away from his safe spot: his home. His journey will be hard to face, but could pay off with a strong refugee with safe and peaceful days. He has a plan, motives, and a strong feeling driving him to do all of this: He is homesick.
