A collection of short stories about a bunch of punks living in a fictional city in downtown New York.

> Laekyn: a bubbly, high maintenance, and dominating 22 year old who's recently graduated from cosmetology school, He's recently been offered a paid internship at a high profile beauty company in the makeup department. Orientation: homosexual
> Noah: comes off as rough and tough bad boy, but is actually a sweetheart. He's currently with Laekyn, and works at rave themed club near his apartment. Orientation: closeted bisexual.
> Mercy: Laekyn's first best friend. She's a loud mouthed and mother-hen like African American fashionista who has also been offered a paid internship with Laekyn. She works in the hair department. Orientation: heterosexual.
> Dimitri: Laekyn's second best friend. She's protective like Mercy, but is a lot more passive and sarcastic. She met Laekyn when they both were working at a diner (which she still works at). She's also androgynous and extremely confused about her gender. Orientation: Doesn't know.
