The year is A.D. 2215, Nathan Tetrola is an Arabian boy born in the futuristic city of Gothenburg, Sweden. Although Nathan has temper problems, his close friend, Zack, keeps him at bay. When Nathan and Zack go on a school trip to an island, a single death-threatening event changes everything Nathan had known about the world.
With chain-breaking and electrifying abilities, Nathan is reborn as a CoDa. A humanoid spirit capable of wielding supernatural abilities and whose purpose is to influence positive morality to humanity.
Follow Nathan as he learns and cooperates with other CoDas in this Cyber-Fantasy universe, and fights against the CoDa's long-lasting enemy,

That is, until he discovers that someone else with the malfunction is murdering people like him, and by discover, he means damn near killed by the psychopath. In order to stay alive and off the killer's radar, Silas moves in with a doctor and an officer who helped save him, but as he spends time with them, Silas discovers a side to normal people that he's never gotten to see. Thea had never imagined to find a mermaid when she looked around in the basement, her dads had forbidden her to enter. Now she wants to free him. • • • Authors notes: Note that most characters have been aged up for about 4 or 5 years for plot reasons. (Meaning Alea & Thea are 16, Ben is 23, Lennox 17 or 18 and so on.) There is no sexual content in this fic, however quite some violence and various mentioned crimes. The violence is about as severe as it is in the book series. Everything should be tagged, if I missed something, feel free to tell me. The story doesn't contain any spoilers beyond volume 6 and just a few minor ones from the earlier books, since it's an au. Just Let Me Sleep
Xander had always been a bright kid almost frightening so and he'd probably be able to rule in whatever job department he choose but there was a slight set back... he was almost helplessly listless and tried to do everything in the most quickest least energy and time consuming way and while that has its plus sides it also has its downs . He didn't really do anything other than sleep work nap eat and sometimes go for a walk all that knew him couldn't help but look after him because they worried he'd likely fall in a ditch somewhere if they took their eyes off him fir a second so with people doting on him he couldn't help but become even more listless . One day a person who was looking after Xander for a while because the boy almost fell into the street on the way home from dozing off gave him a novel to read called "to love and to be loved" it was a cheesy cliche romance novel but Xander found himself reading it till the end . After finishing the book and using it as a pillow to sleep on he found himself waking up as the "mini villain" in the story who died not even 60 pages in but coincidentally had the same name as him . He didn't care tho as long as he could sleep and work with this new worlds magic he wouldn't mind but how come the villain and a few other characters that supposed to hate him suddenly doting on him ?
