Ever since Cepheus Lestrange was born, his family has been so hideous to him, all he ever wanted to do was run away. He didn't want to hate the Muggles, boast about his pure blood, or worship the Dark Lord.  In fact, he loathed Voldemort and the Death Eaters and knew it was wrong to follow in his parents ' footsteps. Eventually, he is disowned, leading him to apparate to his aunt and uncle's.

But when his life is intertwined with amazing Hogwarts, he is presented a challenge. A challenge that lands himself in the midst of a budding war.  A challenge that makes him decide between love and betrayal.  A challenge that makes him discover shocking traits he possesses, ones that others would kill for.  The biggest pitfall in his conquest? This is my second Fanfic. My first is a Draco Malfoy/Lorenzo Berkshire based one called 'the beautifully tragic life of Kassandra Snape'. So, if you're enjoying this one, feel free to read my completed one, while this is ongoing. :) this tells the story of Adriana Black, her relationship with Tom Riddle, and ultimately her untimely death. This story mainly focuses on Tom Riddle's split personality... there's Tom and then there's Lord Voldemort. I will also warn you that there is a lot of domestic violence as well as other Trigger Warnings in certain chapters in this story, but I really wanted this to be somewhat realistic on what I think Tom Riddle would be like. I've also included a few helplines to anyone who needs it at the end. Also, I do not own any of the characters apart from Adriana, Alex Whittle and Liam Barker.
