A computerised voice spoke through speakers in the ceiling. "Assessment will commence in five, four, three, two, one." And the lights went out. "Is that supposed to happen?" She spoke to the dark room, her echo bouncing back to her. Maybe if I tap the screen again. She reached out to where she knew the wall was, but felt only empty air. What the hell?? She put her arm behind her, but couldn't find the door either. "This is really messed up you know!" She called out. Like she expected, there was no answer. Okay, let's just go along with whatever their crazy plan is. She told herself and slowly started forward, holding her arms out in front of her. She counted her steps as she went, so she would hopefully be able to find her way back. On the thirtieth step, her foot bumped into something on the ground. She carefully knelt down and patted the object over. It was a small wooden box with a padlock. Opening it, she fumbled around inside and pulled out a small metal pole with a few buttons on it. She pressed each one and one of them made it turn on, revealing it was a light saber. Alright we've got lift off! She held it up and saw by its light, a wall of switches. "Bingo!" She exclaimed and jumped up. Her finger was on the first switch when she heard a low growling from behind her. Oh great. I'm going to die. She spun around and held out the saber, peering into the darkness. By the light of her light saber, she could make out two glowing eyes. And judging from how far off the ground they were floating, it wasn't any kitty cat. "Uh, hi." She stuttered, then mentally hit herself. It doesn't want to talk to you. If anything, it wants to eat you for lunch! The eyes narrowed at her voice. Then with a high-pitched screaming noise, the creature leapt itself at her. ************** Tessandra Astowin finds herself in the strange new world of the Jedi. "Why are you all looking at me with such long faces?" I question slyly. Everyone looked at me with hate. He motions with his hand, soon more guards come piling in. Their guns were filled with wooden stacks, coated with sorrel and perilla. I roll my eyes. "How dumb have you become, dear? Don't you know a tribrid like me can't be killed?" I laugh shortly. "What is it you want, Octavia?" He questions, glaring at me, holding his glass of champagne tightly. I smile, "Sweetie, you know exactly why I'm here. I've come for what's mine, hand it over so I don't have to kick your ass in front of all these people." The crowds start laughing, along with him. His deep laugh echoed through the room. "What makes you think you can beat me? What can a little thing like you do?" I take a tray from the nearest waiter and grab the last glass of champagne, downing it. Sighing, I wipe my mouth, dropping the glass, allowing it to shatter on the ground. I hold the tray tightly, I throw it like a frisbee, slicing the head of a guard clean off. The tray sticks in the wall, while the head slowly falls off the tray. "Now?" I ask sweetly, feeling my eyes glow. "That good enough for you?" ↞⍥↠ Octavia Lycan has been searching for answers her entire life, well what she can remember of it. The one thing that she craves to have more than anything is memories.
