Raven Cromwell is a vampire, a crappy one but one none the less. She can't see in the dark really well, she is clumsy, she is afraid of the dark, she barely can stomach blood, and is nothing compared to her siblings. As a last ditch effort to get their daughter betrothed to a respected vampire they force her to attend the Blood Born Ball. All high ranking coven leaders and respectable vampires will be in attendance. This is her last chance to prove she can be a true vampire.

Warlow is the Vampire King and has had a hard time. He has waited thousands of years to find the perfect Queen for his people. During an unfortunate event he runs into Raven, and his fate is forever tied with her own.
