Graduation had finally arrived and in 3 months I was moving to London. Not alone of course, my best friend Lauren was moving with me. I was moving to attend university and become a lawyer. My mornings were always the same got up at 6:46a.m , got dressed and was out the door at 7:35a.m , by 7:50 I was at Starbucks getting my morning coffee, then by 8:15a.m I was in Mr.Whites class to hear a lecture. My nights were mostly the same, I was always home by 5:30p.m , in a shower at 5:35p.m , out of the shower at 6:15 p.m, making a new video by 6:40,studying till 8:30,then crazy Netflix time in the lounge with Lauren and her boyfriend Avery till 12:40a.m, then I was in bed. My life was always the same till one night Avery was talking to some friends and they were having a big party. It was Saturday and of course I was slowly pressured into going by Lauren . Little did I know that when I tripped and someone caught me and I caught their gaze that it was going to turn my entire world upside down.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
