(THIS IS A REVISION OF THE PREVIOUS STORY. I DIDN'T REALLY HAVE MUCH OF AN IDEA OR A STORY LINE OF WHAT I WANTED SO I'M STARTING THIS ONE OVER.)

The new age runs on soul power. For years, humans had been curious to discover just what was the great source of power that made humans tick at their core, and when they finally discovered how to handle the limitless possibilities, humanity skyrocketed. The world had never been this confident in its own strength.

But just when the human race was finally feeling like things were going right, a mysterious thief steals an entire generations' souls from around the world without anyone finding them. They vanished, leaving the world in chaos and turmoil. While artificial souls were able to be created to keep the Soulless alive, life was not the same.

Brynn, one of the Soulless is trying to figure out how to get her life back on track. Her parents divorced, she's still treated differently, and strange things have started happening to her and other Soulless. All while she feels this calling she believes is her soul seeking her out. She's determined to find the Soul Thief and get her soul back along with some answers. But can she be the one to succeed in doing what was impossible for the rest of the world?

But still, she longs to return to her home, to find if any more of her people survived the attack on their home. Their stories took different turns, yet their paths have been destined to cross once again in the future for something much bigger than they ever could have imagined. ~*~*~*~ This is a really old draft. I'm currently working on the new draft and the story is basically nothing like it used to be. But I still hope that you enjoy it. I loved writing this version so much.

They are sure that she'll give in and marry the man they've chosen rather than live on the streets. But then again, they've never really paid much attention to their daughter unless they wanted something from her. Helen would rather live on the streets and eat out of garbage dumpsters then return to her parents and marry the man that would make her life a living hell. At least on the streets she's free. She might starve or freeze to death but she'll be free. Then one day three men come after her, intent on forcing her and beating her for what little she has. Before one of them does more than grab her arm the three are gone. Helen looks down and finds them on the ground with their hearts torn out of the bodies. She looks at the person that did that in horror but then her sight goes black.
