Jacob's Fork hides a deadly secret...every 60 years there is a string of murders and disappearances in and around the small town. Ava is warned not to go past the fence line in the woods the day she arrives. It's something her grandparents have always told her, something she's always obeyed. She's all grown up now and she's not afraid of the dark anymore. But as she soon discovers, defying her grandparents wishes lead to deadly consequences and a simple truth becomes clear.
